Indian Passport Renewal in UAE: Alhind Streamlines Services for Expats

Wed, Jul 22, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Alhind Tours and Travels has stepped in to manage Indian passport renewals and consular services across the UAE, marking a fresh start for expatriates following a period of administrative uncertainty. In a move to improve accessibility and fairness, the company has officially abolished premium, paid queues, ensuring that every applicant receives the same standard of care. Mohammed Haris T, the chairman of Alhind, emphasized that the firm’s primary goal is operational efficiency, with a vision to have applicants complete their documentation and depart the service centers within just 30 minutes.

Operating out of their flagship 12,000-square-foot facility in Bur Dubai—the largest of its kind outside India—Alhind has implemented a streamlined process with 75 service counters and specialized support for people of determination. While the company is equipped to handle up to 8,000 applications per day, current intake is dictated by the appointment slots released by Indian missions. To manage the initial influx and backlog, the centers are currently prioritizing those with pre-booked appointments, though walk-in exceptions remain in place for senior citizens, parents of newborns, and urgent Tatkal cases.
