UAE Weather: Scorching Heat Expected as Temperatures Soar to 42°C
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted generally fair weather across the UAE today, with a few low-hanging clouds expected to develop over eastern regions during the morning hours. Residents can anticipate light to moderate breezes shifting from northwesterly to southeasterly directions, maintaining speeds between 10 and 20 km/hr, with occasional gusts reaching up to 30 km/hr.
As for the heat, thermometers are climbing, with peak temperatures hitting 42°C in both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Dubai is forecasted to see a maximum of 40°C, while nighttime lows are expected to settle around 32°C in Dubai and Sharjah, and 31°C in the capital. Meanwhile, marine conditions remain calm, with slight sea states reported throughout both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
