Media Pros Lace Up for Dubai Mallathon Ahead of Major Summit

Thu, Jul 23, 2026(46d ago)UAE

More than 350 journalists, influencers, and content creators swapped their microphones and laptops for sneakers on Thursday to participate in the Arab Media Summit Mallathon. Organized by the Dubai Press Club and the Dubai Sports Council, this energetic event encouraged industry professionals to step away from traditional panel discussions and network in a more informal, active setting. Held at Dubai Mall, the gathering served as a spirited precursor to the upcoming Arab Media Summit, proving that professional collaboration can be just as effective on the track as it is in the boardroom.

The event’s success highlights the growing anticipation for the Arab Media Summit 2026, scheduled for September 15–17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As the region’s largest media gathering, this year’s edition is set to be historic, featuring ten specialized forums and marking the silver jubilee of the Arab Media Award. With a massive turnout expected to surpass previous records—which saw over 8,000 participants from 26 countries—the summit continues to cement Dubai’s reputation as a vital global hub for media innovation, high-level dialogue, and industry excellence.
