UAE Denounces Iranian Missile and Drone Strikes on Arab Nations

Fri, Jul 24, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The United Arab Emirates has issued a stern condemnation regarding recent missile and drone attacks launched by Iran against Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. Military authorities in these countries confirmed that they were forced to intercept several incoming projectiles on Thursday, with Jordan reporting the engagement of six drones and four missiles. Meanwhile, Kuwaiti forces neutralized hostile drones, and Bahraini officials had to trigger emergency sirens, prompting citizens to seek immediate cover as regional tensions reached a breaking point.

This surge in hostility coincides with an ongoing cycle of military retaliation between the United States and Iran, which has now entered its twelfth consecutive day. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these provocations as a blatant violation of national sovereignty, reaffirming its unwavering support for the security and stability of its regional allies. As the U.S. military works to curb Iran’s regional influence and protect maritime transit, the situation remains volatile, particularly following threats regarding critical energy infrastructure and the potential closure of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
