UAE weather: Rain expected amid sweltering 46ºC heat
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted a mix of conditions for the UAE this Monday, August 10. While residents can anticipate fair to partly cloudy skies throughout the day, there is a good chance of rainfall in the eastern and southern regions due to the formation of convective clouds.
Despite the promise of a brief reprieve from the heat, temperatures across the country will remain intense. Abu Dhabi is bracing for highs of 46ºC, while Dubai will experience peak temperatures around 44ºC. Additionally, residents should be prepared for light to moderate winds shifting from the southeast to the northeast, which could occasionally strengthen to 40kmph and stir up dust. Conditions at sea are expected to remain calm across both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
