Adnoc L&S Reports Massive Profit Surge Amid Shipping Boom
ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S) has delivered an exceptional financial performance for the second quarter, reporting a 303% surge in net profit to $951 million. This dramatic rise was fueled by robust activity within the shipping sector, increased chartering demands, and expanded service support for UAE energy exports. Alongside this, quarterly revenue climbed 98% to $2.58 billion, while EBITDA hit a record $1.11 billion. The shipping division emerged as the primary engine for this success, with net profits in that segment jumping nearly seven-fold, bolstered by the integration of newly acquired LNG and ethane carriers into the company's growing fleet.
Building on this momentum, the company has raised its full-year earnings guidance for the third time this year, now projecting significantly higher growth in revenue and net profit than previously anticipated. ADNOC L&S is currently executing a $5.7 billion capital expenditure program to further modernize and expand its shipping capacity, with $2.3 billion already committed to new vessel acquisitions this year. To reward shareholders, the board has approved a second-quarter interim cash dividend of $85.3 million, reaffirming the company’s commitment to steady dividend growth as it leverages strong market fundamentals and disciplined operational execution to drive long-term value.
