Indian travelers planning a trip to Abu Dhabi can now take advantage of a new initiative that offers a complimentary 30-day UAE tourist visa. To qualify for this cost-saving offer, which effectively waives approximately Dh285 in fees, visitors must book an Abu Dhabi vacation package of at least three nights through participating travel partners. The pilot program is currently scheduled to run until October 31, 2026, with an initial capacity to support up to 20,000 visas. It is important to note that the travel must be completed within this timeframe, as bookings scheduled after the October 31 deadline will not be eligible for the free visa.

There are no restrictions on the number of complimentary visas a family or group can receive, provided that every individual meets the minimum stay requirement. While the scheme is open to all Indian passport holders, applicants should keep in mind that receiving the visa is still subject to standard UAE immigration approval processes and is not automatically guaranteed upon booking. Participating travel agencies will handle the processing, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi will either cover the costs directly or provide reimbursements to the operators. Authorities will evaluate the program's success following the October 2026 deadline to determine whether the initiative will be extended.
