He announced that a comprehensive administrative restructuring of the city is nearing completion and will be unveiled in the near future. Drawing a parallel to the successful development of Kalba, the Ruler explained that the new urban plan aims to provide a clear and organized framework for all Khor Fakkan’s neighborhoods, ensuring they are properly classified rather than just treated as distant suburbs.

A significant highlight of the announcement is a pioneering study to level the summit of the iconic Al Awain Mountain to make way for a new residential community. As available land in the area is limited, the Ruler noted that building atop the mountain is a strategic move to accommodate a growing population. He also emphasized the importance of cultural heritage in urban planning, noting a desire to rename certain areas to reflect positive symbolism, rather than carrying old, unappealing monikers. This forward-thinking approach marks another milestone in the Ruler’s ongoing commitment to expanding and modernizing infrastructure across the emirate.
