Two Indian Expats Strike Gold with $1 Million Dubai Duty Free Wins

Wed, May 20, 2026(93d ago)UAE

The latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw has brought life-changing news to two Indian nationals, each walking away with a $1 million prize. Binu C, a 44-year-old retail banking professional living in Ohio, secured his win with a ticket purchased online in late April. A father of one, Binu expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the windfall will be dedicated to his child's education and his wife’s medical needs. He was joined in the winner’s circle by Rasheed A., a long-time Dubai resident of 36 years who runs an electronics business in Deira. Rasheed, who has been entering the draws since 1995, plans to reinvest his winnings back into his business.

These two winners mark the 275th and 276th Indian nationals to claim the grand prize since the promotion began in 1999. Beyond the million-dollar prizes, the event also featured a presentation for previous winner Viktor Vasilev from Russia and celebrated new winners in the Finest Surprise category. Dubai-based real estate investor Iyad El Mousa claimed a luxurious BMW M5, while Sydney-based inventory controller Ranveer Reddy Mamidi won a BMW motorbike. For these participants, the draws remain a thrilling highlight, with winners from all walks of life echoing their appreciation for the opportunities provided by Dubai Duty Free.
