UAE Weather: Temperatures Climb to 45°C Amidst Forecasts of Scattered Rain

Thu, Aug 13, 2026(3h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned UAE residents to brace for sweltering conditions this Thursday, August 13, 2026, as temperatures are set to soar across the country. Mercury levels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to peak at 45°C and 44°C, respectively, while Al Ain could face a grueling 47°C. These high figures follow Wednesday’s record-breaking heat, which saw Sweihan in Al Ain reach a staggering 49.7°C.

Despite the intense heat, the skies will remain fair to partly cloudy throughout the day. However, meteorologists anticipate convective cloud formations over eastern regions by the afternoon, bringing a welcome, albeit brief, chance of localized rainfall. Looking ahead to the night and into Friday morning, humidity is expected to settle over coastal areas. With light to moderate winds gusting up to 35kmph and relatively calm sea conditions, the day remains a mix of extreme heat and unsettled weather patterns.
