Amlak Finance Sees 305% Profit Surge in H1 2026
Amlak Finance has delivered a stellar performance for the first half of 2026, reporting a massive 305% increase in net profit to Dh77 million, up significantly from the Dh19 million recorded during the same period last year. This sharp upward trend was primarily fueled by a surge in revenue from financing and investment activities, which climbed to Dh54 million. A major contributor to this success was the company's strategic placement of wakala deposits, which alone generated Dh52 million in income.
The company's bottom line also received a significant boost from the total elimination of distribution costs to financiers. This shift was made possible after Amlak successfully settled all its financial obligations in July 2025, a move that management notes has greatly enhanced their liquidity and balance-sheet flexibility. Following a recent payout of Dh735 million in cash dividends to shareholders, the company maintains total assets of Dh2.75 billion. CEO Arif Albastaki highlighted that this financial stability provides a solid foundation for the firm to pursue new strategic initiatives while maintaining a focus on long-term value creation.
