UAE weather: Partly cloudy skies and potential light rain expected
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted fair to partly cloudy weather across the UAE for Friday, August 14. As the day progresses, skies are expected to turn increasingly cloudy, particularly in northern and eastern regions by nighttime. These overcast conditions are likely to persist into Saturday morning, bringing a slight possibility of light rainfall to some areas. Residents can expect light to moderate winds shifting from southeasterly to northwesterly, occasionally picking up speed to reach up to 35 km/hr.
Temperatures will remain high, with major cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah seeing peaks of 47ÂșC, 46ÂșC, and 46ÂșC, respectively, before dropping to overnight lows in the low 30s. Humidity levels will also be significant, climbing as high as 80 percent in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and hitting 75 percent in Dubai. Meanwhile, those heading to the coast can expect relatively calm conditions, with the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea remaining slight throughout the day.
