Sheikh Mansour’s Son Celebrates Top A-Level Success

Fri, Aug 14, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The release of this year’s A-Level results in the UAE brought a moment of pride to the nation’s leadership, as Mohammed bin Mansour Al Nahyan—son of the UAE Vice President, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan—emerged as one of the top achievers at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. Mohammed secured stellar grades, including two As in Mathematics and Economics and a Distinction in Entrepreneurship, setting his path toward studies at New York University. His success was part of a historic academic performance for the school, which saw 32 percent of all entries earning top A marks and a perfect 100 percent pass rate across its student body.

This year's cohort faced unique challenges, as traditional written examinations were replaced by a "Portfolio of Evidence" assessment method due to regional security concerns. Despite these unconventional circumstances, students like Elyazya Almarzooqi, Deema Al Athba, and Parijat Bhattacharyya delivered exceptional results, securing spots at prestigious institutions including the University of Toronto, Imperial College London, and NYU Abu Dhabi. Principal Sarah Matthews commended the graduates for their resilience, noting that their ability to excel despite the shift in testing formats proves they are well-prepared to become future leaders in their respective fields.
