UAE weather update: Temperatures set to dip with some dusty spells

Wed, May 20, 2026(48d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology has announced that weather across the UAE this Thursday, May 21, will be generally fair. While conditions will remain warm, with peaks of 41ºC expected in some regions, residents should prepare for light to moderate winds that may pick up throughout the day, potentially stirring up dust in open areas.

As the day progresses, temperatures are forecast to drop slightly, offering some relief. Nighttime lows are expected to reach around 25ºC in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while internal regions could see the mercury fall to as low as 20ºC. Humidity levels are anticipated to fluctuate between 25 and 70 per cent, and those heading to the coast should be aware that sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are likely to be moderate to rough.
