This new initiative is specifically designed to support vulnerable groups and those with urgent needs, including senior citizens, people of determination, newborns, and individuals applying for emergency certificates or Tatkal passports. While the walk-in option offers greater flexibility, the Indian mission continues to advise that applicants prioritize booking online appointments whenever possible, as walk-in requests will be processed strictly based on daily slot availability.
