Dubai International Airport has launched a brand-new, dedicated waiting lounge for Uber and Careem passengers at Terminal 3, aiming to significantly improve the transit experience for travelers. Developed through a collaboration between Uber and Dubai Airports, the initiative aligns with the Dubai Civility Committee’s commitment to maintaining the city's reputation for operational excellence and aesthetic order. By providing a structured and comfortable space, the airport ensures that the high-quality standards visitors expect upon arrival are met the moment they step out of the terminal.

Located right in the primary pickup zone, the climate-controlled lounge is packed with amenities to make waiting more convenient, including ergonomic seating, luggage storage areas, and plenty of charging ports for various devices. To streamline the boarding process, the facility features a designated queuing system for UberX and Careem Comfort riders, which utilizes PIN codes to manage traffic efficiently. Officials from both Uber and Dubai Airports noted that this addition is part of a broader goal to remove travel friction, offering passengers a modern, stress-free environment to recharge before their journey into the city.
