AD Ports Shareholders Face September Deadline for L’IMAD Tender Offer

Tue, Aug 18, 2026(5h ago)UAE

L’IMAD, via its subsidiary ADQ, has officially launched a voluntary tender offer to purchase the remaining minority shares of AD Ports Group. Investors have until 3:00 PM on September 15, 2026, to participate in the deal, provided no extensions are granted. Currently, L’IMAD holds a controlling 75.42% stake in the company and is offering Dh6.25 per share for the outstanding equity. This valuation marks a significant premium, including a 23% increase over the last closing price and a 95% total cash return for those who held shares since the initial public offering.

In response to the bid, the AD Ports board of directors has scheduled a meeting for August 21 to evaluate the terms of the conditional cash offer. During this session, the board is expected to discuss the proposal and appoint a financial adviser to navigate the transaction process. Shareholders interested in participating can find comprehensive information regarding the tender process and official timelines listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
