Back-to-School Initiative Aims to Support 3,000 Students in Need
As the new academic year draws near, The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) has launched a vital campaign to provide educational support to 3,000 students facing hardship in Gaza, Egypt, and Sharjah. Recognizing that financial struggles, displacement, and conflict should never stand in the way of learning, the initiative ensures that children are equipped with the necessary tools for success. From August 20 to 23, the community is invited to join hands at City Centre Al Zahia, where volunteers will spend four days packing school bags and stationery kits that will be distributed to those in need.
Beyond physical supplies, the campaign also focuses on long-term educational stability by funding tuition for students at The Big Heart Educational Centre in Sharjah. Whether through volunteering at the packing event or making financial contributions—which start as low as Dh10—the initiative offers a direct way for individuals and organizations to make a meaningful difference. By covering everything from basic supplies to full-year tuition, this effort aims to restore confidence and provide a sense of normalcy to students preparing for the academic year ahead.
