Sharjah Police to Partner with Noon for Vehicle Plate Collection

Thu, Aug 20, 2026(4h ago)UAE

In a move to streamline licensing procedures, the Sharjah Police is set to introduce a convenient new service in collaboration with noon. This initiative allows motorists to have their vehicle number plates picked up directly from their location and delivered to the relevant traffic and licensing centers. By removing the need for in-person visits during specific transactions, the department aims to enhance the customer experience while further advancing its ongoing digital transformation goals.

Once the service is active, users can request the pickup option when applying for transactions through the Ministry of Interior’s official app or other approved digital portals. A noon representative will handle the collection, with the customer receiving an automated SMS confirmation as soon as the plates are picked up. This shift allows drivers to finalize the rest of their licensing requirements remotely, significantly cutting down on the time and effort typically spent traveling to service centers.
