UAE Hosts Eid Al Adha Festivities to Honor Nationwide Workforce

Thu, May 21, 2026(92d ago)UAE

In a heartfelt gesture to boost social inclusion and prioritize the wellbeing of its labor force, the UAE is set to host Eid Al Adha celebrations across 30 locations throughout the country. Under the banner 'Our Workers' Happiness, the Joy of Our Eid,' these two-day festivities are being coordinated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) in partnership with numerous government entities, including local police departments, the RTA, and various healthcare authorities. Private sector organizations are invited to register their staff via the MoHRE portal to participate in these planned events, while several major construction and contracting firms are running supplementary activities to mark the occasion.

Officials have highlighted that these initiatives are part of a broader, ongoing strategy to foster a supportive and high-quality work environment within the UAE. By involving workers in national celebrations, the government aims to recognize their indispensable role as pillars of the country’s economic development. According to ministry representatives, these efforts not only enhance the overall happiness and stability of the workforce but also reinforce the UAE’s reputation as an attractive and compassionate hub for professionals from all over the world.
