UAE Educators Gear Up for New Academic Year with Intensive Training Initiative
As the 2026-2027 academic year approaches, the UAE Ministry of Education is launching an intensive "Specialised Training Week" from August 24 to 28. This comprehensive initiative is set to equip over 24,000 educators, including teachers, school leaders, and support staff, with the latest pedagogical strategies and technological tools. By utilizing a hybrid format that combines in-person and remote sessions, the ministry aims to ensure that staff members are fully prepared to meet evolving classroom demands from the very first day of school.
Education Minister Sarah Al Amiri emphasized that this program is a vital step toward maintaining a world-class, responsive education system. The curriculum focuses on high-impact areas such as the integration of artificial intelligence, inclusive education, and data-driven assessments. Furthermore, a specialized track for 1,700 principals and vice-principals will concentrate on institutional innovation and leadership, ensuring that school management is well-prepared to foster a positive, values-driven environment for students across the nation.
