Dubai Unveils New Bridge to Enhance Mushrif National Park’s Trails

Mon, Aug 24, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Dubai Municipality has officially inaugurated a 102-metre bridge at Mushrif National Park, significantly improving connectivity for outdoor enthusiasts. By linking two previously disconnected sections of the mountain biking trail, the new structure allows cyclists to enjoy a continuous, uninterrupted ride without the need to cross vehicle-traversed roads. The bridge is thoughtfully designed with dedicated paths for both cyclists and pedestrians, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for everyone exploring the city's largest forest.

Beyond its functional role, the bridge reflects Dubai’s broader commitment to fostering an active, nature-friendly lifestyle. Badr Anwahi, Executive Director of Public Facilities, highlighted that the project is more than just infrastructure; it aims to harmonize adventure with the natural environment. With the addition of this link, visitors can now start their journey at the Mushrif Hub and traverse the expanded trail network with greater ease. This development serves as a key step in Dubai's ongoing initiative to provide accessible, high-quality outdoor spaces that cater to the growing community of fitness lovers and nature seekers.
