UAE Summer Initiative Provides Relief to Over 1,500 Workers in Umm Al Quwain

Tue, Aug 25, 2026(1h ago)UAE

In a thoughtful gesture to combat the harsh summer heat, over 1,500 laborers in Umm Al Quwain were supported on Monday, August 24, through the seventh iteration of the "Let’s Cool Them Down" campaign. Organized by the dedicated Ambassadors of Happiness volunteer group, the initiative involves traveling to various construction sites and project locations across the UAE to provide workers with refreshing cold drinks, nourishing meals, and special gifts.

This charitable effort, held under the patronage of Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, aims to acknowledge the hard work of laborers while fostering a spirit of social responsibility and compassion across the nation. By visiting workers directly at their sites, the volunteer team seeks to promote a culture of kindness and solidarity, ensuring that those contributing to the country’s development feel valued and supported during the sweltering summer months.
