RAK-Dubai Bus Service Boosted to 19 Daily Trips

Tue, Aug 25, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Starting August 24, the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority is significantly enhancing connectivity between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai by increasing the daily bus frequency to 19 trips in each direction. This updated schedule is designed to accommodate commuters with a wider range of departure times, including earlier morning starts from Ras Al Khaimah and convenient late-night options for those returning from Dubai. The earliest bus now leaves at 5:00 am, while the final service from Dubai extends until 11:30 pm, providing much-needed flexibility for daily travelers.

The revised timetable includes a mix of direct routes and services passing through Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, ensuring broader coverage across the region. This initiative is part of a larger strategy by the transport authority to modernize the public transit network and promote sustainable mobility. Beyond the inter-emirate expansion, RAK has also been actively improving local infrastructure, such as the recent relaunch of the "Purple Route," which added 14 kilometers of service to link vital healthcare and educational hubs, making it easier than ever for residents and visitors to navigate the emirate.
