Emirati women have become a driving force within the UAE’s private sector, now representing 71 percent of the national workforce in this area. Recent data from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) reveals that over 123,000 Emirati women are currently employed across more than 32,000 private companies, marking a significant 128 percent increase compared to 2023 figures. This surge, highlighted during Emirati Women's Day, reflects the success of government initiatives like the 'Nafis' program, which have been instrumental in clearing obstacles and providing the necessary support for women to thrive in modern, competitive industries.

Beyond just joining the workforce, these women are securing high-level roles and demonstrating exceptional professional capability. An impressive 98 percent of working Emirati women hold skilled positions, while they occupy 70 percent of senior professional roles and 55 percent of executive leadership spots. This shift underscores a broader national commitment to gender equality and professional development.
