Rare Pure-White Falcon Sets Record With Dh1.5 Million Sale at Adihex
The 23rd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) recently saw a historic moment when a rare Qarmousha Pure Ultra White falcon sold for a staggering Dh1.5 million. This sale, which stands as the highest price fetched at this yearâs event, highlights the immense value placed on these birds. Hailing from the Mark Moglich Falcon Farm in the United States, the bird drew significant attention from elite falconers due to its striking appearance and perfect physical condition, weighing in at 1kg with a measurement of 16.5 inches.
This landmark auction is a centerpiece of Adihex 2026, which is held under the theme âA Legacy of Prideâ at the Adnec Centre Abu Dhabi. With a 20 percent increase in participation compared to last year, the exhibition now hosts 55 top-tier breeding and care farms from across the globe. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of Adnec Group, noted that the eventâs growing prestige not only showcases the finest bloodlines but also reinforces Abu Dhabiâs commitment to preserving the heritage of falconry for future generations.
