This verification follows a similar safety assurance provided by UAE officials just days earlier regarding GreenWise frozen berry products, which were also recalled in the US due to potential E. coli contamination. In that instance, ministry officials similarly reviewed local market inventory and confirmed that the high-risk, FDA-recalled frozen blueberries and mixed berries were not available in the UAE.
