Sharjah Police have officially confirmed the heartbreaking discovery of two Kazakh sisters, aged 20 and 22, who were found dead inside an apartment in the emirate. The young women had moved to the UAE less than a year ago to pursue work opportunities in the beauty industry. Concerns were first raised when the sisters suddenly became unreachable, deactivating their social media accounts and failing to respond to messages. A search was initiated after a missing persons report was filed, which eventually led authorities to the location where their bodies were found.

A formal investigation into the circumstances of their deaths is currently underway, with local police promising to release a comprehensive statement once the inquiry is complete. In the meantime, the Kazakh Consulate in Dubai has been working closely with UAE authorities to provide legal and consular support to the grieving family. The sisters, who were reportedly preparing for a trip home to visit their relatives this September, had their remains repatriated to Kazakhstan on August 28 with the full cooperation of international authorities.
