As students across Dubai head back to the classroom for the 2026-27 academic year, Dubai Police have launched a proactive campaign to ensure a secure and welcoming environment. Through the General Department of Police Stations and the Hemaya Council, officers are visiting various government and private schools to engage directly with the youth. These outreach efforts aim to foster positive relationships between students and law enforcement while delivering essential safety lessons. By shifting the focus toward early prevention rather than just reactive measures, authorities hope to empower students to handle modern challenges with confidence and maturity.

The initiative goes beyond standard security, incorporating interactive activities such as appearances by the department’s mascot, Mansour, and displays of luxury patrol vehicles to bridge the gap between police and the community. Captain Dr. Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi emphasized that the program also focuses on vital road safety, reminding students to use designated crossings and adhere to traffic rules near school zones.
