Developed over 18 months for the 2026 Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the knife serves as a physical narrative spanning from the Stone Age to the modern era. By incorporating copper, stone, iron, and Damascus steel, the design pays homage to the region’s archaeological roots. The blade’s intricate structure even mirrors the ancient 'falaj' irrigation system, mapping the journey of water from mountain sources through underground channels to the lush oasis below, effectively blending historical research with high-end artistry.

Despite its elaborate aesthetic, the piece remains a fully functional tool rather than a mere ornament. Mohammed Al Amiri, general manager of Tamreen, notes that the development process involved deep collaboration with museums and archaeological sites to ensure the engravings and structural details reflected authentic historical seals. This project marks the latest evolution for the company, which began creating concept-driven, heritage-inspired knives in 2022. By shifting from conventional craftsmanship to creating singular, historical artifacts, Tamreen has transformed its traditional forge into a medium for storytelling, ensuring that the rich cultural identity of the UAE is preserved in steel.
