UAE Stock Markets Announce Eid Al Adha Holiday Schedule

Fri, May 22, 2026(90d ago)UAE

The Securities and Commodities Authority of the UAE has officially confirmed the holiday timeline for the country’s financial hubs. Both the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market will suspend all trading operations starting Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, 2026. Investors and market participants should note that all regular trading activity is scheduled to resume on Monday, June 1, 2026.

This announcement follows the broader holiday declarations for the country, which have seen varying structures for the public and private sectors. While the public sector is set for a nine-day break by combining their official five-day leave with the weekend, private sector staff will enjoy a four-day paid holiday. Depending on individual weekend arrangements, private employees can look forward to a six-day stretch off, marking a significant period of rest during the Eid Al Adha festivities.
