UAE weather: Expect rain and high heat today
The UAE is set for a mix of weather conditions today, starting with fair to partly cloudy skies. While much of the country will remain warm, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned that convective clouds could develop over southern and eastern regions by the afternoon, bringing a chance of rainfall. As night falls, the atmosphere is expected to turn humid, with a possibility of mist or fog settling over internal and coastal areas by Friday morning.
Temperatures remain high across the country, with Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi expected to reach peaks of 43°C, 44°C, and 42°C, respectively. Winds will generally be light to moderate, though they may pick up intensity near cloud formations, potentially leading to patches of blowing dust with speeds reaching up to 45kmph. Despite the volatile conditions in some areas, sea states across the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are forecasted to remain slight to moderate.
