UAE Expects Rain and Gusty Winds Through September 7
As the UAE transitions into a new weather pattern, residents can finally look forward to some respite from the intense summer heat. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a stretch of unsettled weather beginning Thursday, September 3, and lasting through Monday, September 7. During this period, the nation will experience a mix of humid mornings, potential fog, and scattered rainfall, particularly in the eastern and southern regions where convective clouds are expected to develop in the afternoons.
In addition to the rain, the NCM warns of fluctuating wind conditions that may stir up dust and sand, potentially reducing visibility in some areas. While temperatures will remain quite hot, reaching up to 48°C in interior regions, the influx of north-westerly winds is expected to bring a gradual shift in the atmosphere. Looking further ahead, experts are also monitoring long-term climate patterns, noting that the influence of El Niño may play a significant role in the countryâs weather throughout the upcoming winter season and potentially into 2026.
