Abu Dhabi Announces Toll-Free Travel for Eid Al Adha

Fri, May 22, 2026(45d ago)UAE

Authorities in Abu Dhabi have officially confirmed that the emirate’s Darb toll gate system will be suspended during the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays. This move is intended to facilitate smoother travel for residents and visitors throughout the festive period, allowing motorists to pass through the gates without incurring any charges.

While the toll-free policy applies to the majority of the city’s network, officials have specified that it does not cover all locations. Motorists should be aware that the Al Qurm and Ghantout toll gates remain exceptions to this rule and will continue to operate as usual. Travelers are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid any unexpected fees while navigating these specific routes during the break.
