Sharjah authorities have successfully apprehended a Kazakh national suspected of murdering two sisters, aged 20 and 22, inside their residential apartment. The breakthrough followed an intensive investigation that began after the sisters were reported missing by their family, who had lost contact with them in mid-August. The victims, who had moved to the UAE less than a year ago to work in a beauty salon, were tragically found deceased after police initiated a search based on reports from the Consulate General of Kazakhstan. Their remains have since been repatriated to their home country with the full support of local authorities.

According to police officials, the suspect was known to the victims, and the fatal altercation stemmed from personal disputes. Investigators utilized advanced technology and detailed field forensics to track the suspect down shortly after the crime was discovered. Upon confrontation with the evidence, the individual confessed to the killings, and the case has now been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal proceedings.
