Abu Dhabi Authorities Order Closure of Ahal Alraya Butchery
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has officially ordered the immediate closure of Ahal Alraya Butchery due to food safety concerns. While the specific violations were not detailed in the announcement, authorities have encouraged the public to report any food safety worries or suspicious practices by calling 800 555, emphasizing that public health remains a top priority across the emirate.
This action is part of a broader crackdown on local businesses that have repeatedly failed to comply with food safety standards. Throughout April, ADAFSA shuttered several other establishments, including Desert Breeze Cafe, Al Domyati Snacks, Lailak Fish Monger, Full Kohli, Amina Restaurant, and the restaurant owned by Mohammad Delwar Hossain. In every instance, the closures were mandated after the businesses failed to implement necessary corrective measures, leaving inspectors no choice but to intervene to mitigate risks to the community.
