The arrest, a joint effort by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) and Dubai Police, followed an investigation triggered by the discovery of a counterfeit document. Officials tracked the source of the fake paperwork, eventually identifying the individual who had been aggressively promoting these illegal visas to hopeful job seekers looking to relocate to the UAE.

Major General Dr. Ali bin Ajif Al Zaabi of the GDRFA warned the public to remain vigilant against such scams, which often circulate on social media and digital platforms. These criminals frequently use sophisticated tactics to mimic official entities, preying on those desperate for employment or residency. Authorities are now stressing the importance of using only government-sanctioned channels and licensed agencies for visa processing. Residents are encouraged to verify every offer through official sources and report any suspicious activity to prevent further exploitation.
