‘A Dubai Invite’ Programme Wraps Up After Overwhelming Response
The "A Dubai Invite" initiative has officially stopped accepting new registrations after witnessing an incredible surge in popularity, drawing in over 90,000 applications. Launched on July 20 by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the program was designed to empower local residents to act as ambassadors by inviting their loved ones from abroad to experience the city. Due to this massive interest, organizers had to triple the program's original capacity, successfully distributing over 30,000 benefit packages to residents eager to share their home with family and friends.
While the registration window has now shuttered, those who successfully signed up before the cap can still redeem their benefits as long as their guests arrive in Dubai by October 31, 2026. The initiative provides a variety of perks across local hotels, dining establishments, and major attractions like Aquaventure Waterpark, with rewards processed within 72 hours of guest arrival. Noor Al Geziry of the DET emphasized that the success of the campaign highlights the deep connection residents have with the city, noting that their personal recommendations remain the most authentic way to showcase Dubai’s diverse culture to the world.
