UAE Weather Update: Rain Forecast and Rising Temperatures

Sat, Sep 5, 2026(1d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE this Saturday, with a specific focus on the eastern regions. Residents in these areas should prepare for the potential development of convective clouds during the afternoon, which are expected to bring some rainfall. As the day progresses, temperatures are set to climb, while coastal areas should brace for humid conditions overnight and into Sunday morning, accompanied by the chance of light fog.

For those in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, the mercury is expected to peak at 42°C, with overnight lows hovering between 31°C and 32°C. Winds will generally remain light to moderate throughout the day, though they may pick up speed—reaching up to 40 km/h—in areas where cloud cover develops. Meanwhile, maritime conditions are anticipated to be relatively calm, with slight to moderate seas in the Arabian Gulf and slight conditions in the Oman Sea.
