In preparation for the 55th Eid Al Etihad, the UAE is calling on residents to take an active role in planning the upcoming National Day festivities on December 2. Organizers have launched a series of community-led workshops designed to gather personal stories, memories, and creative insights from people across the country. By participating in these sessions, residents can help ensure that this year’s celebrations truly reflect the diverse perspectives and deep sense of belonging that define life in the UAE.

A total of eight workshops will take place over a 15-day period, traveling across the nation from Fujairah to Abu Dhabi throughout September. To get involved, interested individuals should sign up via the official Eid Al Etihad website by September 8, 2026. Because space is limited, the selection committee will review all applications and contact chosen participants directly. As Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs, noted, this initiative is about fostering a collective spirit, allowing the community to collaborate and infuse the national celebration with their own unique ideas and heritage.
