UAE Weather Update: Temperatures to Hit 43°C Amid Cloudy Skies
Residents across the UAE should prepare for a mix of fair and partly cloudy conditions this Monday, September 7. While skies will remain relatively clear in many areas, those living in the southern and eastern regions of the country can expect an increase in cloud cover throughout the day. Despite the clouds, the heat remains a significant factor, with maximum temperatures forecasted to hit 43°C in both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, while Dubai will see peaks of 42°C. Those traveling inland should take extra precautions, as thermometers in those regions are projected to climb even higher, potentially reaching 46°C.
As the sun sets, temperatures will offer a modest respite, dipping to 31°C in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and 32°C in Dubai. Weather officials also noted that light to moderate winds are expected to blow from the southeasterly to northeasterly directions. These breezes, moving at speeds between 10 and 25 km/hr, could occasionally pick up to 35 km/hr. Meanwhile, maritime conditions are predicted to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will remain generally slight.
