Harry Potter Magic Coming to Abu Dhabi: Three Iconic Lands Set to Open by 2029
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is set to undergo a massive transformation, with Miral announcing the addition of three immersive Harry Potter-themed lands by 2029. Spanning roughly 63,000 square meters, this ambitious project will bring the wizarding world to life by featuring the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts, and Diagon Alley all under one roof. This marks a global first, as visitors will no longer need to travel between separate parks to explore these iconic locations. Alongside these sprawling environments, the expansion will introduce exclusive rides, unique themed dining options, and specialized retail experiences designed to deepen the connection between fans and the beloved franchise.
This development is part of a larger growth strategy that will boost the parkâs total size by over 50 percent, also incorporating previously announced DC-themed attractions like the Kryptonite Collider. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral, hailed the project as a major milestone that reinforces Yas Islandâs status as a premier global entertainment hub and aligns with Abu Dhabiâs goal of economic diversification. With construction well underway, the anticipation is already building, as fans from across the globe look forward to experiencing this world-class expansion that promises to set new benchmarks for immersive storytelling and theme park design.
