Sharjah is significantly strengthening its educational landscape through a massive Dh500 million investment aimed at upgrading and expanding schools, nurseries, and early childhood centers across the emirate. Managed by the Sharjah Public Works Department in partnership with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, this initiative focuses on creating safe, modern, and high-quality learning environments. The projects span a wide range of needs, from the rapid construction of new, multi-functional campuses like the Mehzb School to essential maintenance and capacity-building expansions in existing facilities located in Al Suyoh, Al Rahmaniya, and beyond.

The scope of these developments is extensive, featuring advanced academic, athletic, and residential amenities designed to meet rigorous safety and technical standards. Recent progress includes the completion of state-of-the-art nurseries in areas like Khorfakkan and Kalba, as well as significant structural upgrades at institutions such as the Pakistani Islamic School. With further projects—including new government nurseries and the continued development of the Victoria International School—currently under construction, Sharjah is clearly prioritizing a long-term strategy to enhance its private education sector and support the growing needs of its student population.
