UAE Weather Update: Temperatures to Reach 46ºC Amidst Fair Skies

Wed, Sep 9, 2026(34m ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE can look forward to a generally pleasant and fair day this Wednesday, September 9. While the skies will remain clear for the most part, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has indicated that cloud cover is expected to build up over eastern and southern regions as the afternoon progresses.

Despite the mild conditions, the country will remain warm, with thermometers climbing as high as 46ºC in certain parts of the interior. Abu Dhabi and Dubai residents should prepare for highs of 43ºC and 41ºC respectively, with mercury levels settling into the low 30s once the sun goes down. Light to moderate winds, blowing at speeds between 10 and 25 kmph—and occasionally reaching up to 35 kmph—will provide some relief, while maritime conditions are expected to stay calm across both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
