UAE Weather Update: Fair Skies and Coastal Humidity Expected

Sat, May 23, 2026(45d ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE can look forward to pleasant weather this Sunday, May 24, as conditions remain fair with occasional patches of cloud. Expect some low-hanging clouds to drift toward the eastern regions throughout the day. However, as the sun sets, the atmosphere will turn humid, particularly across internal and coastal locations. Forecasters have also noted a potential for mist or fog formation overnight and into Monday morning, especially for those in western areas.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the Northwesterly to Southwesterly directions. While average speeds will hover between 10kmph and 25kmph, gusts could occasionally reach up to 40kmph. Temperatures will stay quite warm, peaking at 39°C in Abu Dhabi, 40°C in Dubai, and 41°C in Sharjah. Meanwhile, sea conditions will be somewhat rough in the Arabian Gulf during the day before settling, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain relatively calm.
