In a compassionate move to alleviate financial pressure on local families, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the full settlement of debts involving 82 cases, totaling over Dh17.8 million. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to ensuring social stability and a dignified standard of living for Sharjah’s citizens, providing much-needed relief to those struggling with outstanding financial obligations.

This latest act of support follows a series of significant social welfare enhancements introduced throughout the year. Notably, the government recently raised the monthly "dignified-living" allowance to Dh20,000 for various groups, including government employees, retirees, and families receiving social assistance. These efforts, which include earlier initiatives from January aimed at supporting the elderly, widows, and low-income individuals, underscore the emirate's ongoing dedication to strengthening the financial well-being of its people and fostering a secure environment for all residents.
