UAE Forecast: Mild Rain and Cooling Temperatures Ahead

Sat, Oct 3, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted a shift in weather patterns for the UAE this Saturday, October 3. Residents can expect generally fair skies that will turn partly cloudy as the day progresses. Forecasters have noted the potential for convective cloud formation in the eastern and southern regions by the afternoon, which may bring some light rainfall to those areas. Alongside these clouds, the country will see a welcome, albeit slight, drop in overall temperatures.

As for the daily mercury readings, Abu Dhabi is set to hit a high of 39°C, while Dubai and Sharjah will hover around 38°C. Nighttime conditions are expected to become humid, with a risk of mist forming in certain coastal zones by Sunday morning. Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will pick up speed throughout the day, occasionally kicking up dust as they reach up to 35 kmph. Despite the wind, maritime conditions remain calm, with slight sea states expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
