If you are interested in playing a role in one of the globe's premier literary gatherings, the Sharjah Book Authority is currently looking for 300 volunteers to assist with the 45th Sharjah International Book Fair. Scheduled to take place from November 4 to 15 at the Expo Centre Sharjah, this 12-day event offers a unique chance for individuals aged 18 and older to gain behind-the-scenes experience in event management, visitor services, and operational logistics.

Applications are being accepted through the Sharjah Volunteer Centre platform until October 25, 2026. Selected participants will be assigned to either a morning shift (9am to 3pm) or an evening shift (3pm to 10pm), with all service hours formally recorded. This is an excellent opportunity for university students and local residents to build their professional portfolios while contributing to a massive cultural landmark in the region.
