Dubai Shines: Two Restaurants Retain Top Michelin Honors
Dubai’s culinary scene reached another milestone during the fifth edition of the Michelin Guide, held at the stunning Atlantis, The Royal. The highlight of the evening was the announcement that two elite establishments, FZN by Bjorn Frantzen and the homegrown sensation Tresind Studio, successfully retained their three-star status. This prestigious rating is the highest accolade in the industry, held by only about 140 restaurants globally, marking a truly extraordinary achievement for these local favorites.
Beyond the top tier, the celebration saw Orfali Bros elevate their reputation by earning two Michelin stars, a move celebrated by founders Mohammed, Wassim, and Omar Orfali as a significant moment for young Arab chefs. The evening also highlighted rising stars and industry experts, with 22 restaurants earning Bib Gourmand status for their value-driven cuisine and several special awards given to service, sommelier, and young chef talents. With 19 new entries added to the total selection of 122 restaurants, the 2026 guide reinforces Dubai’s position as a world-class destination for fine dining and culinary innovation.
