The sixth edition of the Saeed Lootah Award for ‘Ideal Families in Raising Children’ has officially launched, offering a total prize pool of Dh90,000. Designed to celebrate Emirati families who excel in fostering healthy home environments, the award features three distinct categories, with each winner receiving Dh30,000. Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan, who announced the initiative during a board meeting of the Association for Social Awareness and Community Care, emphasized that the program aims to highlight positive parenting role models who uphold UAE values, traditions, and long-term academic and personal development for their children.

Beyond celebrating individual families, the association is also gearing up for the 2026 Gulf Forum for Family Policies in Bahrain, which will focus on strengthening family resilience during times of crisis. Engineer Yahya Saeed Lootah of the Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charity Foundation expressed strong support for the award, noting that investing in family cohesion is essential for long-term community stability. As the association marks over three decades of work in social advocacy, this initiative serves as a cornerstone of their mission to empower families, protect children, and foster a supportive environment for future generations across the nation.
